“ We visited this The Bombay Club at the Black Bull when we came to see some family. We were huge fans of the food here, especially the Mushroom Chole chaat puri which was nothing like we’ve ever had elsewhere. Frankly we’re sad we can’t have it until we come back lol The Bhajis, Garlic Chill Paneer, Gunpowder Fries and Italian options were also delicious. We ordered nearly every vegetarian option and none of them disappointed our hungry crowd! Ruby was our waitress and she was brilliant, very attentive and helpful. The decor and atmosphere was superb and we had a great time. I fact a manager was there and mentioned the head chef was pictured on the wall riding a moped in his youth. ”

“ I love what Bombay Club has done with their half of The Black Bull so far! We went for their soft launch menu and the service was especially attentive. I hope to come back for one of their curry club nights on Wednesdays and Sundays. Also loved the mango lassi, which was made on request (can’t guarantee they can do that every time), and would love to see it permanently added to the drinks menu. ”

The staff was accommodating, professional and polite, the hostess was polite and helpful, even though they was short staffed on front of house she did an amazing job and was very apologetic for the waiting time, would like to say a big thank you to her for her commitment and professionalism. “ I have had takeaways from here before, and the food is spot on. More recently, I came in for my birthday and was welcomed with smiles. The young girls are very sweet and they couldn't be more helpful or accommodating. In honesty, I only came here because my daughter and her boyfriend deliver for them. So I thought I'd give it a try. Had an amazing time. Might I also remind people that do order food for a delivery please bear in mind that some orders may take a little longer to arrive especially if you live outside of the village. Also, remember these delivery drivers are young people trying to make a bit extra money and are human. My daughter was reduced to tears the other week after a customer felt it acceptable to watch her trying to find her house whilst being on the phone to the boss moaning about her not finding the property. First of all, if you have an issue with the delivery time, might I suggest you learn to cook? Or order from a takeaway closer to you such as sleaford? Said woman shouted at my daughter saying "my house is here, it's not difficult!". Whilst still on the phone to the pub complaining. Again just a suggestion but maybe you could of come out and said "hiya, thank you the house is just here, sometimes people can't find it especially when dark" but no you continued to have a go at her, and moan about the food being cold after spending ages watching my daughter trying to locate you. That's on you, not her. After this incident, it really knocked her confidence after spending several years building on her confidence to actually leave the house. Thankfully, the team was very supportive of Ami. Lovely place, lovely staff. Be kind. ”
“ Had a fantastic dinner here with my wife. . Such an amazing attention to detail with the food that you won’t find in any other restaurants in the area. The lamb shank and Aberdeen Angus lasagne was out of this world and cooked to absolute perfection. The manager Mo and his lovely staff can’t do enough to make your visit enjoyable. We feel very lucky to have this in our doorstep. Booked up again and looking forward to next Sunday. ”
